After enjoying a nice warm brooder box for the first month of life, our chickens are raised outdoors for 8-10 weeks on a mixture of grass, grains, and milk from our cows. We let them enjoy as much sunshine and happiness as possible before harvesting them quietly and respectfully on farm. Harvest and delivery dates are tentatively booked for September 2025 - to be confirmed once the hatchery allows us to place our order.
 
Whole birds are available by pre-order with a deposit of $15/lbird and final price of $6.35/lb packaged, with free delivery between Red Deer and Calgary for orders over 3 birds. 
 
Packaged whole birds are between 6 and 11lbs.
